Provide second-level review of billing performances to ensure compliance with legal and procedural policies Audit medical record documentation to identify under-coded and over-coded services, preparing reports of findings for provider education Interact with physicians and patient care providers regarding billing and documentation policies, obtaining clarification on ambiguous documentation Collaborate with Revenue Specialists and practice billing specialists to ensure effective follow-up on patient accounts Analyze individual payor performances and respond to inquiries regarding compliance and coding issues What is Required (Qualifications)

Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification required Minimum of 5 years of experience as a biller, collector, coder, or back office support staff in the medical industry Advanced knowledge of medical coding and billing systems and regulatory requirements Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to analyze and solve problems, with independent judgment in managing confidential information How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
