Lead and execute company-wide and internal department projects, ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery. Define project scope and deliverables, manage budgets and forecasts, conduct risk assessments, collaborate with stakeholders, ensure regulatory compliance, provide detailed reporting, and manage consultant resources. Oversee department compliance with Korean Sarbanes-Oxley (KSOX): develop process maps, conduct test of design and test of effectiveness, and coordinate with auditors to remediate gaps. Represent Accounting & Tax on enterprise-wide projects: develop detailed project plans, define scope, establish timelines, coordinate with stakeholders, and manage consultants and project budgets. Identify and mitigate financial risks, ensuring compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and internal policies. Coordinate with FP&A and department Directors to budget the annual department plan; complete monthly budget-to-actual analyses and communicate gaps or overages. Act as the point of contact for technology implementations, representing A&T requirements during selection, testing, and deployment phases of new software or processes. What You Will Bring
Minimum 5-7 years’ progressive experience with accounting principles and project management methodologies. Automotive or financial services industries preferred. Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required; MBA a plus; CPA a plus. Strong knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS; broad technical accounting background. Problem solver with strong decision-making abilities; strong teamwork, leadership, analytical, presentation, communication, and organizational skills. Self-starter, highly motivated, with strong MS Excel and IT literacy; able to establish credibility across internal stakeholders. High energy and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
