Bridgestone Americas, Inc. (BSAM), and Bridgestone Europe, Middle East and Africa (BSEMEA) operate as a Bridgestone West region. This role is based in Nashville, TN and reports to the Senior Manager of Merchandising Finance. Position Summary
We’re currently looking for a Sr. Financial Analyst to join our team in Nashville, TN. The Sr. Financial Analyst - Merchandising will provide strategic decision support and be a trusted business partner for Bridgestone Retail Operations. This teammate will play a critical role in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and financial analysis. Responsibilities include budgeting and forecasting support, financial analysis, and partnering with leadership to drive strategic finance discussions. Responsibilities
Serve as a key contributor to the forecasting and budgeting processes. Ensure financial results are reported timely, accurately, and in compliance with IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards). Interpret and analyze income statements and balance sheets. Develop complex financial models. Proactively drive strategy and finance discussions within the business. Manage competing priorities and deadlines in a timely and efficient manner. Support and/or lead highly visible special projects on an ad-hoc basis. Identify and implement process improvements. Communicate candidly and directly to various levels of leadership. Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA a plus. Minimum of five years (3+ years) of related work experience. Extensive budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis experience. Analytical skills, advanced modeling, financial consolidation, and reporting experience. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and able to work with large data sets. Ability to work effectively with peers and business leaders to gain support for strategies and initiatives. Experience creating Power BI dashboards is a plus. Benefits and Why Bridgestone
