PTM BIO
Overview
PTM Bio is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Scientist or Senior Scientist to drive innovation in proteomics research and service, with a focus on epigenetics, chemical biology, and protein post-translational modifications (PTMs). The successful candidate will lead method development, application expansion, and strategic projects in clinical diagnostics, drug discovery, and translational research. While Mass Spectrometry skills are a plus, this role prioritizes strong biological expertise, cross-disciplinary collaboration, and creative problem-solving. Base pay range
$120,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr Major Responsibilities
Lead development and validation of new proteomics technologies and products related to proteomics and post-translational modifications (PTMs). Drive application development of proteomics in clinical diagnostics, drug discovery, precision medicine, and related research areas. Design, evaluate, and execute project plans, and analyze experimental data, interpret results. Provide expert technical guidance and support for high-impact internal and client-facing projects. Collaborate cross-functionally to integrate proteomics with epigenetics and chemical biology approaches. Prepare, document, and present findings for internal teams, clients and scientific conferences. Support laboratory operations, including oversight of equipment, workflows, and resource management. Job Requirements
