Sr Test Development and Validation Engineer Location: Andover, MA (Onsite). U.S. Security clearance requirements apply: DoD Secret clearance; U.S. citizenship required for clearance eligibility. What You Will Do
Develop and implement automated and manual test procedures for SAW filter production. Design and maintain test fixtures and equipment to ensure accurate and reliable testing. Analyze test data to identify trends and root causes of failures, and implement corrective actions to improve product quality and yield. Collaborate with design, process, and manufacturing engineers to optimize SAW filter performance and manufacturability. Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal quality management systems. Provide technical support and training to production staff on SAW filter testing techniques and equipment. Prepare detailed documentation of test procedures, results, and analysis for internal and external stakeholders. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness. Qualifications You Must Have
Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) and minimum 5 years of relevant experience. Minimum of 3 years of experience in production testing, preferably with RF/microwave components. Understanding of SAW filter principles, design, and performance characteristics. Experience with test equipment such as network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and oscilloscopes. Experience with automated test systems and software (e.g., LabVIEW, MATLAB). Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance; U.S. citizenship required for clearance eligibility. Qualifications We Prefer
Master’s degree in a related field. Experience with statistical analysis and process control methodologies. Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies. Familiarity with aerospace and defense industry standards and requirements. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic production environment. What We Offer
