Security Officer - Utilities Patrol Driver

Colorado Springs, CO , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. This is a Part-Time security role that uses a proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts based on your availability, providing flexibility to build a schedule and gain site experience across various industries. The position primarily involves driving to cover different areas of the property and maintain a secure environment with a strong customer service presence. What You’ll Do

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and professionally Conduct regular and random patrols around the site and its perimeter within the utilities environment to deter unauthorized activity and identify concerns Observe and report unusual activity and incidents during patrols or on duty Maintain clear and accurate documentation of patrols, observations, and incidents as required by site protocols Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to address security-related concerns and support site operations What We’re Looking For

Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements

Have a minimum of three years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements Possess a state, county, or city-issued security license or guard card; preferred and may be required based on local regulations Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles Possess a high school diploma or equivalent As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only Why Join Us
