About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Guidewire Billing Center Analyst with strong expertise in Guidewire data models (PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, BillingCenter) and advanced proficiency in SQL. The ideal candidate will analyze, interpret, and transform data into actionable insights that support business objectives, particularly within P&C Commercial Lines of Insurance.
Key Responsibilities
Data Analysis & Modeling: Analyze complex datasets, identify patterns, and prepare data for predictive modeling and business outcomes.
Guidewire Expertise: Apply deep knowledge of Guidewire (PC, BC, CC) data models for data mapping, integration, and lineage.
Technical Skills: Write and optimize SQL queries for ETL processes; experience with DBT is a plus.
Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams (Sales, Product, Customer Success, Data Warehouse) to align business and data requirements.
Data Quality: Assess systems for inaccuracies, establish data handling protocols, and improve data processing/cleaning methods.
Insight Communication: Present findings and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders in a clear and actionable way.
Requirements Basic Qualifications
Guidewire Knowledge: Proven hands-on experience with PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, BillingCenter data models.
SQL Expertise: Strong ability to write, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries.
Data Warehousing: Strong knowledge of data warehousing principles and practices.
Insurance Domain: Significant experience in Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance, especially Commercial Lines.
Data Profiling & Analysis: Strong background in profiling, cleansing, and statistical analysis of data.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work across technical and business teams.
Nice to Have
Experience with reporting/BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
Exposure to cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
Knowledge of Machine Learning/NLP concepts.
Hands-on experience with DBT (Data Build Tool).
