As a Produce Department Lead you will drive sales in your area and supervise your team of hourly associates to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will model expertise in Produce and work collaboratively with other team leaders to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations. Responsibilities

Be a Team Leader: Supervises the team in Produce and Floral area to deliver on the business plan and contribute to the overall success of the club. Communicates the goals of the department, executes company programs, adheres to policies, and acts as an advocate for the member, the associate, and the company. Be an Expert: Maintains in-depth knowledge of floor and backroom operations, ensures produce area meets company standards for quality, inventory, production, sanitation, equipment usage, safety, and compliance. Be a Techie: Uses digital tools to plan for and drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement. Utilizes handheld technology to support decision making related to production, training, and product quality, and to adopt new tools. Be an Owner: Drives business results with a focus on operational excellence, profitability, and maintaining a neat, clean, and safe work area for both team and members. Maintains staffing levels, audit and compliance standards, and merchandise presentation as per the layout plan. Be a Talent Ambassador: Teaches and trains the team, identifies potential in others, supports career growth, and sources new talent. Develops and implements processes to meet business needs through collaboration and data-driven improvement. Demonstrates and supports compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethics; guides and demonstrates application in business practices and decision making; supports management with ethical issue correction. Leads and participates in teams by using resources to determine customer needs and priorities, coordinating work, providing feedback, and modeling adaptability to change. 6 months experience working in a fresh production department or 6 months experience supervising a team. I acknowledge that the position requires successful completion of all job-required trainings and assessments within a prescribed time period if selected. Must be 18 years of age or older. Preferred Qualifications

Supervising a team; Food Handler Certification (Food Safety). Location
