HIRING IMMEDIATELY Sunstates Security is currently hiring Full-Time and Part-Time Security Officers in the Huntsville, AL area. These positions offer a pay rate of $17.00/hr with weekly pay.
Benefits Full-Time: Industry-leading benefits that include weekly pay, 401k savings with company match, medical/dental/vision, employee referral bonuses, paid time off, premium holiday pay, tuition reimbursement, and more – available for qualified candidates.
Part-Time: Eligible for a 401(k) with employer match (up to 8%) for those who work 20 hours/week (minimum 500 hours/year) and have completed six months of service.
Shifts 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
3rd Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Requirements Flexible schedule and ability to work weekends.
Ability to stand, sit, bend, reach, and/or walk up to 45 minutes consistently.
1+ years of experience in a customer service role.
Truck gate experience is preferred.
AL security license is preferred.
Exceptional customer service and critical thinking skills.
CPR certification is preferred.
Basic computer skills.
Responsibilities Ensure the security of the area, including outside premises.
Ensure rules and regulations are followed.
Report writing (daily activity, incident, visitor logs, maintenance items, etc.).
Checking in visitors, ensure policies are followed, foot patrols, access control.
Monitor CCTV cameras and equipment.
Other duties as assigned by management.
A Security Officer may perform duties as specified by the Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). The Security Officer will read and become knowledgeable of Post Orders and SOP to act quickly and efficiently according to directives.
Education & Certification Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
Certification: AL Security License (required where applicable).
