Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to support the finance team with general ledger management, month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in the entertainment industry and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, creative environment. Key Responsibilities
Manage month-end and year-end close processes Prepare and maintain general ledger entries Perform bank and account reconciliations (accruals, prepaids, credit cards) Analyze financial data and prepare adjusting entries Support internal and external audits Collaborate with production teams and department leads on budget tracking Ensure compliance with GAAP and entertainment-specific tax regulations Assist with cost accounting and project-based financial reporting Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in entertainment, media, or production Strong knowledge of GAAP and entertainment-specific tax compliance Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Great Plains, JD Edwards) and Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUPs) CPA preferred but not required Excellent communication and collaboration skills Worksite: On-site in West LA Schedule: Monday–Friday, standard business hours Background check and drug screening required Software: NDS (training provided) Team Environment: Collaborative, fast-paced, and creative Benefits and Other Information
