Overview
We are seeking an experienced Controller to join our team in Lexington, KY. This is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing all accounting and financial operations. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on professional, capable of managing multiple priorities, and comfortable working in a small-to-medium-sized construction environment. The Controller will be supported by one accounting team member but will be expected to independently handle complex financial responsibilities. Base pay range
$90,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr Key Responsibilities
Oversee all accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll. Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Manage cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning. Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and internal controls. Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and financial institutions. Develop, implement, and monitor accounting policies and procedures. Provide financial analysis to support strategic decision-making. Support project accounting and job cost tracking in a construction setting. Supervise and mentor the accounting team member. Handle ad-hoc financial projects and multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment. Seniority level
