$150,000 - $170,000 + 20% Bonus Email your word document resume to Hayley.h@conexusrecruiting.com and reference the subject as Financial Controller Company Description: Our Multi-Unit Healthcare client is looking for a Controller who will work with the Chief Financial Officer on the company’s day-to-day financial activities. You will be responsible for ensuring monthly financial statements are complete, accurate, and in compliance with GAAP. Their ideal candidate must-have Multi-Unit (Hospitals, Retail, Restaurant) industry experience and heavy lease accounting experience. Growing Company, 30% YOY Growth Light Hybrid Schedule, Very Flexible Responsibilities: Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting of financial results in accordance with GAAP. Direct all aspects of accounting operations, including execution of operational accounting policy, general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, revenue recognition, and lease accounting. Serve as the technical accounting expert and trusted advisor to senior management maintaining current knowledge of GAAP, relevant regulations and industry trends providing guidance, planning and direction related to all accounting matters. Maintain the intangible assets and ASC 842 lease schedules. Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements. Interact with operational departments to gather all relevant financial data to ensure timely and accurate monthly reporting. Prepare monthly financial reporting package and variance analysis. Communicate with key business leaders and play an active role in the monthly actuals vs. budget review meetings. Own relationships with accounting consultants, external auditors, and tax advisors; manage annual audits and handle all tax-related workstreams. Work closely with the Strategic Planning team and assist in the forecast and budgeting process. Identify process improvement opportunities and lead process improvement efforts to increase accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency of month end close. Collaborate with other departments to ensure that accounting information is accurate and timely. Contribute to departments and Company on special projects. Manage, develop, and mentor the accounting team members. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related degree Multi-Unit industry experience is required. Lease Accounting experience is required.
