Overview
The primary purpose of this role is to drive the Freezer Product Line sales and provide application support within the APAC region. The role focuses on empowering sales teams by delivering comprehensive product line information and training, while also evaluating customer requirements to gain insights into market needs. This position is crucial in ensuring that both JBT APAC sales teams and customers benefit from a market-leading product value proposition and access to detailed product information. The role also involves technical support on refrigeration related questions, specifically around our Low Volume System, LVS™. The Opportunity Responsibilities To provide commercial and technical support to the local sales teams. Communicate to stakeholders and effectively inform and consult the Sales Network on product line value proposition with a focus on customers. Generate sales material to help the Sales Network be more self-sufficient in selling. Review and validate Freezer solutions and how it fits into full line JBTM solutions. Participate in customer visits and technical application meetings. Manage freezer startups and operations during commissioning phase. Participate in exhibitions, seminars and customer events. Monitor market conditions, product innovations and competitors’ product positions. Collaborate with JBT R&D and design engineers on new development opportunities to ensure JBT equipment delivers optimal market value proposition. Initiate and perform lab tests and field tests to build approved product data. Lead generating “Proven Product/Solutions” and publish sales support material for the product line. Build and maintain product line Knowledge Information System (Technical Products Information, Proven Solutions, Pricing, Price lists, Case Studies). Build a competitor data base. Qualifications Bachelor degree in electrical, industrial, chemical, mechanical or food engineering, or food science. Experience working in an international environment with fluency in English; Chinese speaking is desired but not required. Experience in working in food processing equipment supply chain (optional). Fluent in Microsoft Office package. Exposure to refrigeration systems design. Understanding of a Food Production Plant operation and requirements. Willing to travel once or twice a month.
