Overview
We are looking for a seasoned Senior Business Analyst to collaborate with Finance and other cross-functional teams in assessing business requirements, defining system and process improvements, and implementing strategic solutions that enhance efficiency and decision-making. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in business analysis methodologies and the capability to apply them effectively across Finance projects—leading activities such as process mapping, gathering requirements, and coordinating testing efforts. This is a full-time/permanent role with bonus and benefits. 100% onsite, must be local in NJ. No 3rd party please. Responsibilities
Collaborate with Finance and other cross-functional teams in assessing business requirements, defining system and process improvements, and implementing strategic solutions that enhance efficiency and decision-making. Lead activities such as process mapping, gathering requirements, and coordinating testing efforts. Qualifications
Bachelor\'s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field required. 3+ years\' experience as a Business Analyst, ideally supporting Finance or Accounting functions. Proven experience implementing and executing core Business Analysis practices, including process mapping, requirements management, stakeholder facilitation, and testing coordination. Invoice to Cash and/or Procure to Pay experience would be a big plus Highly analytical with strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills; able to translate complex business issues into actionable requirements. Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Working knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday Financials) or Finance applications preferred. Certification or training in Business Analysis (CBAP, PMI-PBA, or Agile BA) preferred. PMO or project delivery experience is a plus.
