Overview
Actuarial Analyst - Remote at CSAA Insurance Group, a AAA Insurer. This role supports pricing under actuarial analysis for personal lines, with potential to lead projects of moderate complexity. The role is posted at an intermediate level (Level II–III considered). Responsibilities
Gather and clean data, ensuring accuracy and readiness for analysis Perform data analysis, conduct rate reviews, and recommend changes to new and existing insurance products Assist in the preparation of rate filing materials, exhibits, and other filing support data Collaborate with cross-functional teams (state product management, finance, claims) to provide actuarial support Understand business requirements, provide project updates, and communicate results Follow industry developments, trends, market landscape, and emerging actuarial methods and tools Provide analytical support to other functions on an ad hoc basis Assist with ongoing pricing and reserving analyses as assigned Qualifications
BA/BS in statistics, mathematics, actuarial science or related field At least 4 years of experience performing statistical and actuarial analysis on personal lines pricing Completion of 4 or more actuarial exams Proficiency in statistical analysis and programming languages (e.g., SQL, R, Python, Radar or similar) Strong analytical and communication skills What would make us excited about you
