Base pay range
$85,000.00/yr - $105,000.00/yr Location: New York Salary: $85,000 - $105,000 + bonus Piper Maddox are supporting a highly successful clean energy IPP as they continue to expand their business focused on community-scale and utility-scale projects. You will play an integral role in supporting project finance, M&A, and capital markets activities, while developing expertise in complex financial modeling and transaction execution across solar and energy storage portfolios. With over $1bl in capital secured to push forwards the energy transition industry, this business are expanding quickly given their huge success. Offering a fleet of offerings from financings through to engineering and deployment this platform are one of the strongest in the space, and continue to grow at a impressive rate. What you will do: Build, maintain and optimize complex financial models for renewable energy projects. Focused on all technical aspects of financing including diligence, valuation, closing etc. Prepare and refine investment committee presentations, investor materials, and transaction documents. Conduct financial and market analyses to support strategic decisions and business development initiatives. What you will have: 1+ years of experience within transactional finance, ideally clean energy or investment banking. Understanding of project finance, valuation principles, and capital market structures for energy assets, or ability to learn quickly. Strong analytical and financial modeling skills. Passion for the energy transition, and willingness to operate cross functionally in support of different business functions. Seniority level
