Electronic Security Systems Technician (Lenel/Bosch/DMP)
role at Caspian Technologies. Base pay range
$65,000.00/yr - $75,000.00/yr Overview
Imagine starting your day in a company-provided vehicle, heading to a healthcare facility to commission a nurse call system, then crossing town to integrate a DMP intrusion panel with Lenel access control and Bosch video surveillance. You review drawings, pull and terminate structured cabling, bring devices online, and verify every component works exactly as designed. You wrap up with clean documentation and a quick walkthrough for the client’s team—leaving a reliable, compliant system behind. If you thrive on fieldwork, problem-solving, and seeing technology come to life, this role is for you. What You’ll Tackle
Install, program, and service low-voltage solutions: alarm panels (Lenel, Bosch, DMP), access control, CCTV/video, structured cabling, nurse call, and device wiring. Execute inspections, functional tests, and preventive maintenance to meet local codes and industry standards. Diagnose faults in panels, sensors, cameras, and peripherals; deliver efficient fixes that minimize downtime. Integrate systems with networks, VMS/monitoring platforms, and remote access tools for smooth operation. Partner with clients and trades to align scope, coordinate timelines, and meet project specifications. Document system configurations, service actions, as-builts, and change details with precision. Follow safety protocols and relevant standards (including NFPA for fire alarms) on every site. Share knowledge—coach junior techs and guide end users on operations and best practices. Stay current on emerging tech to improve quality, speed, and reliability. Operate independently or with a crew, taking initiative on complex assignments. What You Bring
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or an associate/bachelor’s in electronics/electrical preferred. 3+ years hands-on experience with low-voltage installs and service (structured cabling, video surveillance, access control, nurse call, or alarms). Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. Strong grounding in low-voltage wiring, IP networking, and integrated security workflows. Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Excel and Outlook; strong written and verbal communication. Professional, customer-focused demeanor. Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record; Security License required. Legal/Compliance: Ability to pass background checks and obtain necessary certifications (e.g., NICET, state licensing). Fluency in English (required). Willing to travel up to 50% in-region and out-of-state (expenses and per diem covered by Caspian). Preferred
Certifications with Lenel, Bosch, DMP, or similar platforms. Experience with CCTV, intercoms, fire alarm systems, and broader low-voltage technologies. Familiarity with NFPA codes and advanced troubleshooting in integrated environments. Physical Demands

Professional development and certification reimbursement. Company-provided vehicle for work-related travel. Role Logistics
