Overview
Reporting to the CHRO, you will provide human resources leadership and tactical HR generalist support for our headquarters location. This position is responsible for executing HR strategies and initiatives including, but not limited to, talent acquisition, talent management, performance management and other human capital initiatives. This role will partner closely with the CHRO to deliver on business objectives to support the growth and success of the business.
Position Responsibilities
Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that align with business goals and support growth.
Lead and manage the annual HR processes for assigned client groups, including talent reviews, succession planning, and compensation cycles.
Act as a change agent, guiding leaders and employees through organizational change initiatives and ensuring smooth transitions.
Provide mentorship to leaders on a variety of HR topics, including employee relations, performance management, and leadership development.
Apply data and HR metrics to identify trends, diagnose organizational issues, and inform strategic decisions.
Collaborate with other HR functions (e.g. Talent Acquisition and Total Rewards) to deliver coordinated HR solutions.
Work with leadership to develop and execute human capital strategies that achieve operational objectives, promote positive employee relations, and increase engagement.
Provide leadership and guidance to managers regarding the application and interpretation of human resources practices, policies, and procedures.
Coach and counsel management and hourly employees regarding policies, procedures, discipline, interpersonal and teamwork opportunities.
Lead the talent acquisition process by preparing and updating job descriptions, conducting employment interviews, and other screening activities guided by our corporate standards.
Manage on-boarding process and follow up with new team members as they integrate into our culture, maintaining engagement with team members using various programs and strategies.
Coordinate and administer promotions, transfers, wage/salary increases, procedures, and other HR programs in compliance with Corporate HR.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field required. Master’s degree is strongly preferred.
7-10 years of experience in an HR Business Partner role or related work experience. Previous experience supporting engineering, sales, headquarters staff.
Knowledge and understanding of benefits, employment laws, workforce planning, talent development practices to act as a subject matter expert to business groups.
Consulting, collaborating, innovating, planning, deciding, and organizing skills to develop an engaged workforce.
Ability to adapt to dynamic business circumstances and flourish in an environment that requires high energy levels.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Intermediate Excel and PowerPoint skills).
