Overview Senior Manager of Curriculum Development at Andersen — a strategic, forward-thinking role dedicated to designing and implementing impactful learning experiences. You will collaborate with industry experts and a dedicated team to strengthen and expand our learning portfolio, focusing on developing solutions that enhance business development skills, accelerate leadership readiness, and advance the growth of professionals through thoughtful curriculum design. The role reports to the Managing Director of Learning & Development and works with national training committees, Andersen professionals, and other Learning & Development team members to create meaningful learning experiences across the firm.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Collaboration: Partner with firm leaders, subject matter experts, and instructors to co-create learning paths that strengthen technical, interpersonal, and leadership capabilities across all levels.

Business Development Enablement: Design and implement programs that equip professionals with the skills to create and expand business relationships at every career stage.

Leadership Development: Build and implement leadership learning initiatives that prepare professionals for growth and succession, particularly those in management positions.

Interpersonal & Professional Skills: Infuse interpersonal skills (communication, collaboration, influence, and executive presence) across all programs, including a dedicated curriculum for operational professionals that blends technical proficiency with interpersonal effectiveness to strengthen role impact.

Learning Design & Delivery: Develop innovative, blended programs that integrate instructor-led, virtual, and self-directed experiences—leveraging AI tools, adaptive technologies, and interactive techniques such as simulations and scenario-based learning.

Curriculum Alignment: Ensure all programs reflect level-specific competencies, service line priorities, and evolving business goals, while preparing professionals for future leadership opportunities.

Content & Partnerships: Curate and manage internal and external content, evaluate vendor solutions, and oversee build-versus-buy decisions and implementation to ensure high-quality, scalable offerings.

Impact & Compliance: Measure learning outcomes through analytics and feedback, drive continuous improvement, and maintain alignment with accreditation and continuing education requirements.

Qualifications

Minimum of 8+ years of progressive experience in professional services, with a strong understanding of firm structures, leadership levels, and the dynamics of client service organizations.

Proven track record in business development enablement, leadership development, or talent management, ideally within a professional services, consulting, or corporate learning and development environment.

Demonstrated success in designing and implementing enterprise-level learning programs (e.g., business development, leadership readiness, or professional skills).

Strong strategic thinking, program design, facilitation, and project management skills, with the ability to manage complex initiatives and collaborate across service lines.

Proficiency with Microsoft 365 Suite (advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams required) and familiarity with learning technologies (LMS, analytics, AI-driven tools).

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to inspire trust, build relationships, and serve as a credible partner to senior leaders.

Willingness to travel for key learning initiatives and in-person program delivery.

Advanced degree preferred (e.g., MBA, Master’s in Organizational Development, Education, or Human Resources), though a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with significant leadership experience will be considered.

Salary Range: For individuals hired to work in Los Angeles, Costa Mesa, San Diego, Boston, McLean, or Washington D.C., the expected base salary range for this role is $131,490 to $183,510. Actual compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, and skill set.
