24 Seven is partnering with a top global sportswear client to help them find a Color Designer for an onsite position in Los Angeles, CA. This is a full-time 6 month contract with potential to extend, working 4 days a week onsite. While on contract, you’ll be eligible for benefits including medical, dental, vision, and more. Responsibilities

Color Design Execution – Executes color designs; finalizes product details and follows through on color execution for each product; communicates changes clearly for final confirmation; responsible for color in the final product result. Maintains color calendar/timelines/deadlines for category. Develops line art, color design server, GPIN, PDM, merchandising line, and coordinates materials with material consultant. Product Planning – collaborates with design, product marketing and development/material consultant to focus color solutions for market success. Gathers category specific information: consumer/channels/market; develops solutions regarding quality, cost/value, manufacturability, sustainability, merchandising solutions. Color Solutions – creates and executes innovative, retail-ready color solutions for category or gender-specific line. Creates seasonal category-specific direction of color, materials and graphics with Color Design Director/Sr. Color Designer to reflect design philosophy, product performance, and consumer appeal. Understands trends that influence category and applies knowledge accordingly. Consumer Research – understands consumer and brand positioning needs; studies competitor products, consumer retail habits, color and market trends; applies insights into color solutions. Presentations & Communication – presents color direction and color merchandising direction of the seasonal line to appropriate groups as needed. Skill Development – develops excellence as a color designer; grows functional expertise and proactively advances color design skills with management. Qualifications

Bachelors Degree preferred 2-4 years directly relevant work experience
