Overview
The Foundation and Corporate Relations Associate at the Rescue Mission of Trenton identifies, cultivates, solicits, and steward foundation and corporate partners to secure financial support, in-kind donations, volunteers, and employee engagement. Responsibilities
Foundation Relations: Research and identify potential foundation funders aligned with the mission; contact potential foundation and corporate funders; assist with submission of letters of inquiry, grant proposals, and reports; maintain a grants calendar to ensure timely submissions and reporting; maintain a portfolio of institutional donors. Corporate Partnerships: Cultivate and maintain relationships with corporate donors and prospects; develop sponsorship and volunteer opportunities tailored to business interests; manage the Corporate Giving and Volunteer Program. Donor Stewardship & Reporting: Accept in-kind donations as needed; track deliverables, grant outcomes, and acknowledgments; prepare impact reports and donor updates; organize site visits and recognition opportunities for funders; assist with grant budgeting; collaborate with communications and program staff to gather content; support fundraising events and campaigns; maintain accurate records in the donor database. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience 2+ years of experience in fundraising, grant writing, or nonprofit development Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational and project management abilities Familiarity with fundraising databases (e.g., DonorPerfect, Wealth Engine) is a plus Passion for the mission of the Rescue Mission of Trenton Salary and Work Details
Salary Range:
$45,000 - $50,000 per year Work Week:
40 hours; TBD Benefits
