CCAPP Post Doctoral Scholar at Inside Higher Ed. Minimum Education Required: Doctorate (Academic) with a Major in physics or astronomy by the time of appointment. Required Qualifications: Demonstrated record of accomplishments in cosmology, astroparticle physics, astrophysics, or closely related fields. Additional Information
The Departments of Physics and Astronomy, within the College of Arts and Sciences, seek Post Doctoral Scholars to join the OSU Center for Cosmology and AstroParticle Physics (CCAPP). Location: Physics Research Building (0070). Position Type: Term (Fixed Term). Scheduled Hours: 40. Shift: First Shift. Salary and Benefits
CCAPP Fellow appointments will be for three-year terms. Competitive salaries (approximately $66,000 annual) with $10k/year research budgets and $3k relocation funds. Applicants will also be considered for other post doctoral positions. Application Details
Applications should include a cover letter (optional), curriculum vitae, list of publications (can be included in the CV), and a brief description of past and proposed research. It is strongly preferred that these be provided as one document and in that order. Finalists for this position will be asked to furnish at least three letters of recommendation upon request.
