Primary Care and Specialty Sales Consultant - Cardiorenal (Gainesville, GA) at Bayer. This role is accountable for implementing the sales strategies for an approved Cardiorenal product. You will drive launch activities for an anticipated menopause launch and drive demand, clinical education, and sales by developing, coordinating, and implementing a strategic business plan for Primary Care Physicians, primarily in community settings. The position reports to the CVR Area General Manager (AGM) and will be an integral part of the Area Customer Squad, collaborating with Marketing, Market Access, Patient Services, and other internal partners to drive US Pharma outcomes. The span of coverage includes Gainesville, Cumming, Suwanee, Blairsville, Buford, Blue Ridge and Dawsonville, Georgia. Travel will be up to 50% within the territory. The position is residence-based and candidates must live within the territory. Your Tasks And Responsibilities

Build and develop professional relationships with primary care and pharmacy staff within assigned customers (and beyond). Drive appropriate utilization of approved CV and menopause products; collaborate with the Customer Squad to generate pull-through within local payers and community HCPs. Leverage expertise in diabetes and menopause marketplace, competitive landscape, and cross-functional plans to anticipate and manage business opportunities and challenges. Provide input to sales leadership and regional account managers regarding strategic and tactical planning for territory, area, and region. Develop and implement effective customer-specific business plans; communicate insights to internal stakeholders. Prioritize time and effort to ensure optimal coverage of appropriate physician specialists based on opportunity and potential. Understand fully assigned customers’ product and business needs and work to meet those needs while adhering to Bayer ethics and compliance standards. Anticipate potential barriers to goals and propose responsible solutions; handle customer objections and strive to exceed expectations with the value provided to physicians. May be called on to share skills in training capacity. Leverage emerging technologies to enhance performance and continuously improve proficiency. Understand and comply with pharmaceutical industry guidelines and regulations, applying high ethical standards in day-to-day work. Who You Are

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree; Proven track record of consistent high performance in a sales role or other relevant experience; Proven track record in developing long-standing relationships with customers; Outstanding written and oral communication skills; Demonstrated leadership and ability to foster an environment that promotes ethical behavior and compliance with company policies and applicable laws; Ability to comply with customer credentialing and safety requirements (e.g., up-to-date vaccinations, trainings); Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: An advanced degree is a plus; 5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical sales; In-depth knowledge in cardiovascular and/or diabetes and/or menopause disease states; Product launch experience; Strong analytical and computer capabilities; Virtual Sales Experience; Strong local relationships with HCPs and understanding of local market. Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $113,841 - $170,762. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc. This salary range is merely an estimate and may vary based on location, market data, an applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
