Job Essentials
Direct patient care in clinic settings, including urgent care and survivorship consultations. Conduct thorough assessments, develop treatment plans, and follow up on patient progress. Offer education and support to patients and their families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and survivorship plans. Serve as a resource for infusion nurses, assisting with patient management and care coordination. Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to ensure appropriate patient treatment and follow-up care. Float to cover other clinics as needed, providing flexibility in patient care across locations. Document patient interactions and treatment plans in electronic health records (EHR) accurately and promptly. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives. Qualifications
Education: Master’s degree in nursing (for NP) or a relevant PA program. Certification: Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C). Licensure: Valid state license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. Working Conditions
Ability to float to different clinic locations as needed. Fast-paced environment requiring adaptability and multitasking. On-call responsibilities for weekend clinic / hospital coverage. Physical/Mental Demands
Requires standing, sitting, walking, bending, stooping, twisting. Requires full range of motion, manual dexterity, and eye-hand coordination. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range. May require helping lift/transfer patients. Requires ability to deal with stress from multiple tasks, irregular hours, tense patients, and unexpected emergencies. Additional Information
