Overview
Occupancy Planner responsible for tracking, analyzing and updating space data and using this information in the creation of occupancy planning scenarios to offer comprehensive solutions for our client\'s portfolio.
Responsibilities
Fostering relationships: You\'ll foster critical relationships between various individuals and organizations, ensuring coordination and collaboration among business units, including developing planning strategies that drive construction projects and support their implementation.
Managing spaces: Plan and manage portfolios while supporting clients in strategic scenario planning and moves. Use qualitative and quantitative data to identify trends and insights, understand supply and demand, and deliver:
Collecting business requirements per the client program/workplace guidelines
Developing options
Blocking & stacking
Creating test fits (including aisle width, furniture systems and space types)
Developing migration plans
Regular deliverables: Monthly reporting, periodic data audits, tracking and managing utilization data, gathering space and adjacency requirements, and updating space layouts.
Qualifications & Skills
Tech-savvy with the ability to tell a story through data. Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, cell calculations), understanding floorplans, and consolidating data into PowerPoint presentations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, space management systems and AutoCAD is highly valuable.
Communication champion : Excellent communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, ability to understand complex ideas and communicate them to others, and interacting with executive-level external and internal clients.
Dynamic : Strategic thinking, ability to simplify the complex, see the big picture, drive results, adapt to change, and be proactive with solutions. Curiosity toward digital innovation and meeting deadlines.

Experience & Education
Literacy in reading and interpreting floor plans
Working knowledge of occupancy utilization, office design principles and trends (e.g., mobile or collaborative workplaces)
Attentive to detail and accuracy, particularly with numbers and spatial creativity
Work experience in occupancy or space planning for corporate clients or related facilities roles in a corporate real estate setting
A bachelor\'s degree is preferred
Work Arrangement
Onsite presence 4 days per week at client site in San Antonio, Texas, with one day remote flexibility
