Join our seasonal, experienced Tax Professional team to serve clients with diverse tax needs with the support of an expert team, and receive advanced tax training to help you be successful. Responsibilities
Build client relationships that grow stronger over time by inspiring confidence and helping clients make informed decisions about their lives, careers, and money. Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools (video, phone, chat, email). Prepare complete and accurate tax returns. Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services. Provide clients with IRS support. Mentor and support teammates. Complete the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment as required. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field. CPA or Enrolled Agent certification. Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership). 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax. Experience conducting virtual tax interviews. Experience with tax planning and audit support. Sales and/or marketing experience. Experience completing individual returns and working in a fast-paced environment. Comfort working with virtual tools (video, phone, chat) and effective communication in person, via phone, and in writing. Must meet IRS and applicable state requirements.
