Benefits Administrator
for our client in Buffalo, NY.

$29.00-34.00/HR, DOE
Responsibilities
Administer employee benefits programs including health, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, retirement, FSAs, and HSAs.
Process enrollments, terminations, claims, and benefits changes accurately using HRIS/benefits systems.
Address employee benefits questions and resolve eligibility or system issues.
Partner with payroll to ensure accurate deductions and employer contributions.
Reconcile invoices, perform audits, and ensure regulatory compliance (ERISA, HIPAA, ACA).
Support Open Enrollment planning, communications, HRIS configuration, and employee meetings.
Maintain vendor relationships and assist with Leave of Absence administration.
Contribute to process improvements and benefits-related projects.
Required Skills / Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years in an analytical role.
Knowledge and understanding of plans and regulations, including ERISA, HIPAA, ACA, FMLA, and requirements from the IRS and DOL.
Strong data analysis, reporting, and auditing skills.
Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, formulas) and benefits systems.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years as a benefits administrator.
