Overview
Position: Accountant with the Cat Technology Engineering group within the Digital, Technology & Distribution division. Location: Mossville, IL. This role supports the R&E engineering business with forecasting & planning scenarios, client recoveries, net position analysis, compliance, and STIP reporting. What You Will Do
Support the R&E Engineering business, including client recovery forecasting and reporting, as well as net position analysis. Financial accounting including preparation of journal entries, financial statements, variance analysis, and account reconciliations. Financial closing and forecasting activities adhering to accounting practices, policies, and procedures. Completion of Compliance requirements and reports. STIP forecasting and reporting. Education/Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance, or business-related field and 2-4 years of accounting or finance experience. Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision. Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyze and determine root causes; develop solutions to resolve problems. Effective Communications: Ability to transmit, receive, and interpret ideas and needs clearly. Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches and tools to recognize and resolve organizational, operational, or process problems. Accounting: Knowledge of accounting methods, processes, and ability to maintain and prepare financial statements using standard practices. What Will Set You Apart
2-4 years of accounting experience. Proven initiative, leadership, accountability and effective communication skills. Strong communication & collaboration skills. College degree with an accounting major or approved accounting certification. Additional Information
