We are seeking a detail-oriented Sales Tax Specialist to manage all aspects of sales tax compliance and reporting for our Franklin, WI client. This 3-4 month contract role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining compliance with state and local tax regulations. This is a fully onsite role with full-time hours in Franklin, WI. Sales Tax Specialist Responsibilities:
Complete monthly sales tax compliance process across multiple jurisdictions Compile and analyze transactional tax data to ensure accuracy and completeness Prepare and file sales tax returns in a timely manner Maintain and reconcile sales tax accounts, ensuring proper documentation and reporting Evaluate taxability of transactions to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations Manage and update exemption certificates to support accurate tax reporting Assist with special projects and other tax-related tasks as assigned Requirements for Sales Tax Specialist:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred Experience in sales and use tax compliance or accounting required Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data management Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with tax software or ERP systems a plus Strong organizational and communication skills If interested in this 3-4 month contract role in Franklin, WI, please apply now.
