Major Responsibilities and Duties Program Management
Register all new students and input the students' information into the computer.
Maintain student demographic information in the computer and update any changes in a timely manner.
Establish and maintain a system to request, send, and track student files.
Request records via TREx or by fax if the student is from out of state.
Prepare and process withdrawals and secure all supporting documentation (e.g., grades and parent letters).
Assist parents, students, and personnel with questions regarding student registration.
Verify students' addresses when campus mail comes back as undeliverable or is returned.
Complete transaction logs and run reports requested by the principal.

Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, rules and regulations.
Compile, maintain, and file all reports, records, and other documents required.
Comply with policies established by federal and state law, State Board of Education rule, and the local board policy.

Maintain confidentiality.
Follow district safety protocols and emergency procedures.
Maintain an appropriate level of technology competence to meet the current and future needs of Alief.
Implement alternative methods of instruction as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board's policy on evaluation of Non-Instructional Paraprofessional Personnel.
Mental Demands/Physical Demands/Environmental Factors
Tools/Equipment Used: Standard office equipment including computer and peripherals
Posture: Standing, prolonged sitting, occasional kneeling/squatting, bending/stooping, pushing/pulling, and twisting
Motion: Repetitive hand motions; frequent keyboarding and use of mouse; occasional reaching; may also require climbing stairs and reaching overhead
Lifting: Moderate lifting and carrying (up to 15 pounds); may require occasional heavy lifting and carrying (15-45 pounds)
Environment: May work prolonged or irregular hours; frequent district-wide travel; all campuses are temperature controlled with hard surface floors
Mental Demands: Work with frequent interruptions; maintain emotional control under stress
