Verify four (4) years of experience (at least one year of the experience must be within the three year period immediately preceding the issuance of the credential Obtain the recommendation of the branch of the military service sponsoring the program in the employing school district High School Diploma, GED, or foreign equivalent of High School Diploma From the US Army Cadet Command website: Eligibility: Noncommissioned Officers who have separated/retired within the past 5 years with a minimum of 10 years cumulative honorable service in the grades of E-6 through E-9.
