Hourly Non-Exempt Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Supervise, train, and motivate the stewarding team to maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety standards in all kitchen, dishwashing, and storage areas. Ensure compliance with all health, sanitation, and safety regulations, including proper handling and storage of equipment, utensils, and cleaning chemicals. Coordinate and monitor daily cleaning schedules, ensuring all back-of-house areas meet operational standards before, during, and after service. Oversee the cleaning and maintenance of kitchen equipment, promptly reporting any malfunctions or safety concerns. Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, dishware, and small wares, ensuring adequate stock levels and cost-effective usage. Collaborate with culinary and food & beverage leadership to support smooth service operations and special events. Conduct ongoing training on cleaning techniques, chemical safety, and proper dish-handling procedures. Assist in planning and implementing deep-cleaning projects and preventative maintenance routines. Maintain a professional, positive, and team-oriented work environment that reflects the Club’s standards of excellence. Additional duties as requested by Bluejack leadership. Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities)
Prior experience in high-end golf/country club or hospitality industry is a plus Prior experience in a kitchen, dishwashing, or porter role preferred but not required Minimum of 2 years of experience in stewarding or kitchen operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role preferred Strong knowledge of sanitation practices, HACCP guidelines, and safety procedures within food service operations Proven ability to lead and develop a diverse team while maintaining high morale and accountability Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with culinary, service, and management teams Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand or walk for extended periods Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as business needs require Education
High School diploma, GED certificate, or relevant work experience. Approximate Schedule And Hours
Weekdays, weekends, and Holidays; schedule flexible as business dictates. Additional Compensation

Our property sits on 767 acres and features many indoor and outdoor facilities. The role requires standing and moving for the majority of shifts, may involve working outdoors or indoors in varying weather, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
