Base pay range
$20.00/hr - $24.00/hr $2.00/hour shift differential Are you the kind of maker who lives for accuracy? Dorner Conveyors is on a mission to deliver innovative conveyors that solve real problems. Producing flat and formed parts that meet dimensional specs from engineered drawings. Operating and setting up Amada laser and press brake; programming and forming simple bends. Selecting proper material, dies, and CNC programs per work orders. Retrieving and adjusting preprogrammed machine instructions as needed. Troubleshooting cut quality, tool damage, and equipment alarms. Improving processes to raise quality and shorten cycle times. Deburring with manual and automatic equipment; removing parts from laser nests and moving them to the next routing step. Sorting and storing raw material with forklift and overhead crane. Daily communication with programmers; performing basic PMs and keeping the area 5S-ready. What it takes to thrive
Minimum 1 year operating similar fabrication equipment. Mechanical aptitude; strong blueprint interpretation. Fluent with fractional/decimal conversions and precision measurement tools. Team-first communicator; detail-obsessed. Comfort with undefined challenges and shifting priorities. Ability to lift/lower/push/pull up to 40 lbs safely. Your schedule
Work Monday–Thursday, 2:00 pm–12:30 am. Enjoy Fridays off on second shift. Internal candidates
Qualified to proceed with two (2) or fewer "Inconsistent" ratings on the most recent review. Not qualified with three (3) or more "Inconsistent" ratings or any "Unsatisfactory" rating.
