TECH - ULTRASOUND FT Nights 12Hr Shifts role at Corona Regional Medical Center, located in Corona, CA. Responsibilities

Reporting to the Director of Diagnostic Imaging and/or designated supervisor, operates ultrasound equipment to perform radiographic or sonographic examinations as ordered by the physician. Positions and instructs the patient for radiologic or fluoroscopic examinations. The Radiology Tech is responsible for performing sonograms and assisting the radiologist during biopsy and general/vascular sonography exams. Performs all appropriate procedures in the computer as needed, including scheduling exams, completing exams by computer terminal, and proper charging of supplies. Essential job duties include thorough knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy; ability to perform general & vascular exams (arterial, carotids, etc.); ability to follow physician’s orders; ability to pull related exams for doctor viewing; must be able to perform sonography studies in an operating room setting; performs “Time Out” on all procedures and ensures universal protocols are completed on all patients by utilizing two identifiers per TJC NPSG standard. Verbalizes and demonstrates HIPAA compliance and all safety practices as supported by organizational policy and procedure. Qualifications

ARDMS certification required. RVT required within 12 months of hire. Current BLS (CPR) certificate required. Ultrasound Licensure Requirements. EEO Statement
