The HR Business Partner role is central to this journey. You will be a strategic advisor, culture shaper, and execution catalyst, helping leaders translate strategy into workforce design, people practices, and measurable results. Translate strategy into workforce design, people practices, and measurable results. Provide strategic alignment of HR practices with institutional strategy and student success. Coach leaders to model behaviors of excellence, inclusivity, and accountability. Enable leaders with tools, insights, and frameworks to drive performance and succession. Drive change leadership and rapid execution of bold ideas into scalable programs. What You Will Build At The River
As part of The River’s transformation, the HRBP will build systems, practices, and mindsets that outlast this decade. You will: Leadership Playbook — define leadership expectations and development systems. Future-Ready Workforce Architecture — design organizational structures and workforce plans for growth. Employee Experience Framework — design initiatives to support, inspire, and enable great work. Change Leadership Toolkit — build tools for navigating transformation. Data-Driven Insights & Metrics — create dashboards that tie people strategies to results. Experience & Qualifications
We are seeking builders, strategists, and advisors with the following experiences and capabilities: 5 to 7+ years of progressive HR or people leadership experience in medium to large organizations. Proven ability to partner with senior leaders as a trusted advisor. Experience designing initiatives that improve engagement, retention, and belonging. Background in organizational design and workforce planning; ability to diagnose structural challenges. Change leadership experience in major transformations. Familiarity with HR metrics, dashboards, and data-driven decision-making. Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, OD, or related field; Master’s degree preferred or equivalent. What We Offer
