The Marketing Coordinator plays a key role in developing and maintaining the company’s brand presence through marketing, communications, and community engagement initiatives. This position supports the creation of marketing materials, manages digital content across social media and the company website, coordinates sponsorships and events, and helps tell the story of who we are and the impact we make in communities across Michigan. Full-Time, Salaried Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Marketing & Communications

Plan and execute marketing initiatives that reflect company values and support brand awareness and business objectives. Develop, write, and design marketing collateral, including brochures, videos, presentations, and other promotional materials. Create and maintain an engaging social media presence that highlights company projects, culture, and community involvement. Maintain and update website content to ensure information is accurate, timely, and aligned with brand standards. Coordinate specialized vendors such as photographers and videographers. Manage and maximize ROI on corporate and community sponsorships, including partnerships such as the Dow Championship, Great Lakes Loons, Saginaw Spirit, and Dow Tennis Classic. Plan and coordinate company and community events as assigned, ensuring brand alignment and positive representation. Assist with developing and managing marketing budgets and ensure activities are executed within budget parameters. Prepare award submissions and other industry recognition materials that highlight company achievements. Prepare and maintain the company’s annual Accredited Quality Contractor (AQC) certification. Internal Communications & Community Engagement

Assist in planning and producing internal communications such as newsletters, company announcements, and meeting presentations. Support coordination of company meetings and special events, including scheduling, logistics, and presentation preparation. Coordinate and track employee participation in community events and volunteer initiatives. Represent the company at community and industry events as needed to enhance visibility and strengthen relationships. Maintain strict confidentiality and exercise sound judgment in all communications and professional interactions. Proposal & Business Development Support

Support the preparation and coordination of multiple, concurrent proposal efforts that align with business development goals and growth strategies. Collaborate with project teams and leadership to produce compelling, client-focused proposals, qualifications, and presentations. Assist in the development of pursuit-specific content, including resumes, project descriptions, and graphics that adhere to brand standards. Ensure all proposal materials are professional, accurate, and visually consistent through editing, proofreading, and quality control. Maintain and organize marketing and business development databases, including project information, resumes, and pursuit histories. Support market research, client outreach, and lead tracking activities to help identify new opportunities and emerging markets. Understand the company’s sales process and work closely with estimating, project management, and business development personnel to support pursuit strategies. Contribute to the ongoing improvement of proposal processes and tools to enhance efficiency and quality. Additional Requirements

Consistent, reliable on-site attendance. Local and statewide travel, as required. Attend in-person meetings with clients, partners, and internal teams. Be actively involved in professional and community organizations to effectively represent the interests of the company. Perform other duties and special projects as assigned. Education And Experience

BA/BS Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field. Minimum of 1–3 years of marketing or communications experience. Construction, architecture, or professional services industry experience is a plus, but not required. Knowledge And Skills

Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (especially InDesign), Microsoft Office, and social media platforms. Experience with website content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress is preferred but not required. Understanding of brand consistency and visual communication principles. Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Demonstrates a sense of ownership and accountability in all projects. Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across teams. Creative thinker with problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach. Works well under pressure, including the ability to manage last-minute and urgent requests. Photography and videography skills and experience are considered a plus but not required. Seniority level
