We are seeking a candidate to contribute to commercial and industrial plumbing and HVAC construction projects. What You Will Contribute
Leverage networking and relationship management skills to develop and grow a customer base focused on commercial and industrial plumbing and HVAC construction projects. You will spend your time meeting with customers, establishing and maintaining relationships, generating sales; estimating projects; and setting up and closing out projects. Ahern supports design and estimating subject-matter experts for more challenging projects. You will project manage the work you sell and coordinate installation with the field, suppliers, and other subcontractors. You will influence the financial performance of regional work while actively managing projects with an engineer and Ahern’s field talent. PMs also receive collaborative support from Purchasing, Drafting, and Collections groups, emphasizing our unified team effort. What You Need To Qualify
Ahern will value your prior construction project management or sales experience with plumbing and HVAC-related projects. A post-secondary degree in a related field is preferred but not required. If you have strong knowledge of mechanical systems, a basic understanding of design, and a disciplined approach to estimating, we would love to speak with you. Must have excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills; the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. What’s in It For You?
