The Regional Sales Manager represents Tate in the market, promoting Tate as the preferred manufacturer and supplier of raised access floor systems, floor finishes, and other value-added products to Commercial and Data Center sectors. This role is typically home-based with an expectation that 50% of time will be spent traveling within the region. You will manage the cost center to cover travel, entertainment, sales meetings, and presentations. What You’ll Do
Promote and sell Tate access floor products to exceed annual sales targets and KPI targets for the region. Identify opportunities early to maximize visibility of the order pipeline. Promote Tate products through specification-driven activities. Establish positive relationships with owners, architects, contractors, dealers, and other key influencers. Manage the budget/bid process by understanding project requirements, specifications, and scope; provide pricing direction and follow up on bids to help close sales. Present Tate products to grow use of raised access floors in commercial and data center markets. Assist architectural and engineering communities with specifications, project details, lessons learned, and best practices to position Tate as a go-to company. Prepare project cost estimates to evaluate bid price recommendations. Make pricing decisions based on competition, factory loading, margin targets, and other considerations. Manage distribution in the assigned territory and support succession planning within the Dealer network. Position Tate Dealers as preferred suppliers and installers of Tate products. Establish and maintain trust between Tate dealers across distribution markets. Maintain open lines of communication with Tate customers for pricing, material, and delivery needs. Work with Tate’s Customer Service Representatives to ensure customer pricing and service needs are met. Maintain project tracking in Salesforce CRM, recording pricing, contacts, and key activities. Participate in monthly calls with the Sales Director to review projects, strategies, issues, and region performance. Review monthly sales, bookings, and backlog reports. Engage with industry organizations to build networks and business relationships. Provide cross-territory support to other Regional Sales Managers in promoting Tate products. Maintain awareness of quality, safety, environmental, and product compliance policies and report any issues accordingly. Additional Expectation
Remain compliant with the Code of Conduct and Kingspan Group policies. Ensure product compliance duties are followed in accordance with Policy, Laws, and market demands. Contribute to achieving compliance goals within the Compliance Management System. Raise compliance concerns to a supervisor or through the whistle blower service if needed. What You’ll Bring
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar sales role. Experience in the architectural and/or Mechanical Engineering field is desirable. Experience in the Data Center sector is beneficial. Self-motivated team player with excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office and Salesforce CRM.
