Role overview: The Environmental, Health and Safety Coordinator (EHS) will support and maintain EHS policies within the designated site to ensure compliance with organizational, local, state, and federal regulations. The Coordinator will respond to technical and regulatory inquiries with minimal oversight from the EHS Manager and will perform regulatory research, audits, reports, presentations, and lead special projects. Responsibilities

Maintain all applicable procedures, processes, and programs relating to EHS in compliance with local, state, and federal statutes. Assist with record keeping, presentation, and evaluation of department records and KPIs (e.g., 300 log, Incident Log, Utilities, Tier 2). Provide EHS training and orientation to new and existing employees. Maintain EHS programs aligned with organizational and regulatory requirements. Perform internal EHS compliance audits and manage the implementation of audit corrective actions from internal and external sources. Maintain environmental regulatory requirements related to air quality and emissions, wastewater, storm water, as well as solid and hazardous waste management. Cultivate and continuously improve a safety culture among all site employees, aiming for a zero-injury workplace. Conduct, review, and communicate job-specific risk assessments across all processes (PPE, ergonomics, etc.). Assist and conduct incident investigations, root cause evaluation, and implement root cause corrective action plans. Qualifications

High school diploma required; associate degree preferred. At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience with environmental regulatory reporting related to Industrial Wastewater Discharge Permit, SARA 312 Tier II, SPCC, and SWPPP is beneficial. Experience in tracking, analyzing, and reporting environmental data is a plus. Experience in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.). Certifications & Licenses (preferred): Associate Safety Professional/Certified Safety Professional (ASP/CSP); OSHA 30; CPR/First Aid/AED; Continuous Improvement (Six Sigma, Lean); Food Safety Quality training and/or certification (ISO 9001, FSSC 22000, SQF and PCQI).
