Overview If you’re a professional who works with text, Mindrift offers a unique opportunity to apply your writing, editing, and communication skills to an AI training project. GenAI models are improving rapidly, and this role supports making them capable of addressing specialized questions and achieving complex reasoning skills. As an AI Trainer in Linguistics (junior role), you’ll collaborate on projects to train AI models and shape how they understand and generate human-like text. This work involves crafting text that teaches AI reasoning, logic accuracy, nuance, and clarity.
Responsibilities
Craft original, clear, and fact-checked responses based on project guidelines.
Generate prompts that challenge AI.
Define comprehensive scoring criteria to evaluate the accuracy of the AI's answers.
Follow style and quality standards to ensure consistency.
Qualifications
You hold a Bachelor's Degree in linguistics, computational linguistics, translation studies, literature, or related fields to ensure a strong understanding of grammar and stylistic features.
You have at least 1 year of professional or educational experience in linguistics, computational linguistics research, translation projects, etc., with strong skills in critical thinking and working with text in English.
Your level of English is advanced (C1) or higher.
You are ready to learn new methods, can switch between tasks quickly, and can work with challenging, complex guidelines.
This freelance role is fully remote; you just need a laptop, internet connection, time available, and enthusiasm to take on a challenge.
