UMI is seeking an Inside Salesperson to join our team in Farmingdale, NY. In this role, you’ll help clients bring their design visions to life by showcasing UMI’s premium selection of natural stone, quartz, and other surfacing materials — including our exclusive Vicostone line. You’ll work directly with designers, remodelers, builders, and homeowners, providing product expertise, design guidance, and exceptional service both in our showroom and through phone and email communication.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver an exceptional, design-focused showroom experience
Present UMI’s full range of products and assist with material selections
Communicate with customers via phone, email, and in person
Enter and manage orders through production, delivery, and installation
Follow up to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business
Maintain showroom displays and assist with inventory as needed
Collect deposits and balances, and support collections when necessary
Participate in showroom events and product trainings
Qualifications
3–5 years of experience in construction or interior design product sales
Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
Self‑motivated, organized, and driven to close sales
Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable using order entry systems
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
