A well-funded, self-clearing global broker-dealer with significant growth in products, clients, and headcount is seeking a Controller to join their team in Manhattan, NY. $175,000.00/yr - $225,000.00/yr Responsibilities
Hands-on Controller role reporting directly to the CFO for a rapidly growing financial services organization, offering opportunities for career growth. Liaise directly with the business. Responsible for the product-related items of the month-end close process. Produce daily P&L reporting across all business units. Role focuses heavily on product and business controllership, with significant involvement in financial regulatory accounting and reporting. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting required. 6 years of relevant broker-dealer industry experience required with Equity and Fixed Income product knowledge. High proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential. CPA or CPA track a plus, but not required; Series 27 + (eventually requirement). Working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics GP and Phase 3 systems. Knowledge of regulatory reporting including 15c3-1 and 15c3-3 requirements a must.
