Position Overview As a Community Association Manager at Affinity Management Services, you will play a pivotal role in fostering thriving and well-managed communities. Your responsibilities include cultivating positive relationships with association boards, addressing unit owner needs, managing vendors, and overseeing the association’s finances. You will also prepare budgets, lead major improvement projects, and respond to emergencies, while ensuring clear and effective communication with stakeholders.

Job Duties

Create, grow and manage healthy and positive relationships with the board of directors of the association.

Assist unit owners with their service requests. Review, analyze, and resolve requests submitted by unit owners.

Foster relationships with association vendors to ensure cooperation. Manage and supervise the quality of work while the vendor is providing services to the association.

Manage the association’s finances. Know and understand the association’s financial statements. Provide the board the necessary guidance they’ll need to make sound decisions.

Prepare the association’s annual budget. Analyze the association’s expenses item by item and suggest the adequate funding amount to meet financial responsibility.

Provide administrative support. Prepare the necessary documentation to support the association’s meetings.

Receive and process important correspondence.

Prepare a management plan and utilize it as guidance to set the right expectations with the board.

Prepare RFPs for job requests and analyze bids to ensure an accurate comparison and presentation of project specifications.

Respond to and act on association emergencies.

Manage major improvement projects. For capital improvements exceeding $10k, prepare RFPs, coordinate meetings, and oversee vendor interactions.

Communicate with the board, unit owners, vendors and government agencies in a clear, thoughtful and consistent manner.

Requirements

Bilingual (English, Spanish) preferred.

Active CAM License.

Minimum 5 years of management experience.

Experience with High-Rise Condominiums and HOA Management.

General computer skills.

Job Specs Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm. Nighttime meetings and emergency calls will be required.

Salary: Based on experience

Paid Time Off: 11 days
