Accountant at North Star Imaging (NSI). NSI designs, manufactures, sells and services 2D digital and radiography and 3D computed tomography equipment. The role supports timely and accurate financial reporting and acts as a finance partner to other departments. Responsibilities
Processing of manual entries into the General Ledger Assisting with monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting and close processes Ensuring compliance with corporate policies and procedures Variance analysis – actual versus budget and outlook Account reconciliation Ad hoc reporting as requested Researching accounting system related issues/processes Assisting with internal and external audits Providing support within Finance and as a business partner to other departments Preparing accounting related information for payroll processing (as a backup) Assisting/providing backup as needed on AP/AR/Payroll functions Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting experience Solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) Proficiency in automated accounting systems, report writers, and Microsoft Office Suite Compensation and Benefits
Compensation ranges from $65,000 to $90,000, based on education and experience. Benefits include health, dental, life and LTD insurance, paid parental leave, 401(k) with match, and tuition reimbursement. Equal Opportunity
