Human Resources Generalist delivers a variety of Human Resource functions inclusive of recruitment support, benefits administration, HRIS management, coaching, policy development, and compliance. This position serves employees across the Company and supports management objectives. As an integral member of the HR Department, the Generalist analyzes existing HR and management systems and communicates potential changes and improvements. The HR Generalist will support the HR team on all personnel matters, and other duties as assigned, in a highly confidential manner. Note:

Business
Lends compliance expertise and assistance to Director of HR and VP of HR about all applicable State and Federal Laws affecting employee compensation, employment status, working conditions and benefits. Reviews and edits disciplinary documentation and recommends proper disciplinary action; attends disciplinary meetings or terminations as necessary. Manages Unemployment Insurance claims by tracking charges and providing timely responses. Responsible for benefits administration, including FMLA, Paid Family Leave and Disability claims. Assists and supports HR tasks and projects (EAP, Wellness Program, Employee Orientation, Open Enrollment, TMR, etc.), providing leadership/management as requested. Maintains HR recordkeeping (paper and electronic) including benefits information, training records, and employment agreements. Assists in development and implementation of HR policies and procedures. Supports Recruitment Manager with recruitment functions including reviewing applications, phone screening, coordinating interviews, processing applications, and sending applicants correspondence. Assists with New Employee Orientation and correspondence on behalf of the Recruitment Manager. Supports HR leadership with employee personnel investigations as requested. Identifies, reports, and follows up on workplace injuries and supports the Modified Duty Program. Updates ADP and SharePoint employee portals as needed. Assists with TMR process and run reports as requested. Coordinates and reports information for the weekly HR KPI Report. People
Acts as a resource for day-to-day employee issues, concerns, and benefit needs. Responds to inquiries about employment in a timely and professional manner. Assists with benefits enrollments and changes for new and existing employees. Communicates HR information to employees (e.g., internal job postings) as requested. Coaches managers on employee development and performance management. Attends employee meetings as a liaison for the HR Department as requested. Self-Organization
Ensures employee documentation is complete and compliant. Participates in personal HR development. Required Skills
Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a related field 3-5 years’ HR experience PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP certification(s) preferred MS Office proficiency Strong working knowledge of HRIS systems and reporting Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines Strong problem-solving ability Approachable, positive work culture Ability to take direction and work self-directed Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent administrative and organizational skills Work Shift Requirements
Ability to work flexible, additional hours as needed Use and maintenance of company-issued laptop and cell phone Notify supervisor before the start of a work shift if calling in sick (voicemail or email not acceptable) Environment & Physical Demands
