What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)

Contact insurance payors regarding non-payment or short payment on outstanding claims

Assist patients with outstanding balances, including payment plans and financial hardships

Review and resubmit denied claims to payors for reprocessing

Respond to insurance payor correspondence and work AR aging reports

Provide exceptional customer service to all internal and external customers

What is Required (Qualifications)

Minimum 1 year of experience in medical billing and collections

Minimum 1 year of experience in accounts receivable, claims, and insurance payor requirements

High school diploma or equivalent qualification required

Knowledge of healthcare billing processes for Medicare, Medicaid, and Commercial plans

Proficient with Microsoft Office software, including Excel and Word
