Pastry Chef - Key Responsibilities

Assist the Head Chef, Sous Chef, Junior Sous Chef, and Pastry Chef during service to ensure quality, timing, and coordination of all dessert items.

Uphold the highest standards in presentation, flavor, texture, and portion control for all pastry items.

Use only approved ingredients as directed by senior kitchen leadership to maintain consistency and quality.

Take full ownership and responsibility for your station, ensuring cleanliness, readiness, and overall efficiency.

Proactively communicate with the team to suggest improvements and address challenges in your section.

Ensure all items produced in your section meet the company’s quality and presentation standards.



Requirements

A Diploma or higher qualification in Pastry, Bakery, or related culinary disciplines.

3 to 5 years of relevant work experience in pastry within a high‑standard restaurant or hotel environment.

Strong team player with leadership potential and excellent interpersonal skills.

Positive, enthusiastic, and professional attitude with a passion for pastry arts.

Willingness to work weekends and public holidays.

Immediate availability preferred.
