The Career Coach recruits for the program, seeks employment and educational opportunities as participants complete the program, conducts activities in the community related to participant development, and recruits target populations of clients and employers. Delivers skills training in software applications, work readiness, and basic remedial skills in math and reading. Develops presentation and facilitation skills to engage students and meet program goals. Engages in job development by connecting with employers and community organizations frequently to market and enhance the program and participant success. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred. 3+ years relevant work experience, especially with targeted populations. Proficient in Microsoft Office and online database systems. Must pass a drug screen per our Substance Abuse and Drug-Free Workplace policy, compliant with California law CA A.B. 2188. Valid state driver’s license and ability to meet auto insurance requirements; able to drive for work purposes. *This description outlines the general nature and level of work performed by this role.
