Uphold the high standards defined by the company handbook and policies Maintain order, discipline, safety, and organization in the kitchen Oversee daily kitchen operations including budgetary and financial responsibilities Manage all kitchen divisions (including pastry and dishwashing teams); implement new processes for efficiency Develop and implement innovative culinary concepts and trends aligned with the brand Collaborate with sales and marketing to create memorable dining experiences Conceptualize, develop, train, and execute diverse menus for a wide range of client preferences and dietary restrictions Ensure menu items are cost-effective and profitable while maintaining exceptional quality Source high-quality ingredients in collaboration with vendors Optimize kitchen efficiency and workflow to maximize productivity and minimize costs Implement and maintain rigorous food safety and sanitation standards Build, develop, and lead a high-performing culinary team Foster a positive, collaborative, and creative work environment Provide mentorship and training to culinary staff Oversee the kitchen budget and monitor food and labor costs Ensure cooks stay on task and work efficiently Conduct performance reviews and disciplinary actions as necessary Comply with federal, state, and local kitchen health and safety standards Ensure compliance with industry food safety standards Work with special handling requirements (e.g., vegan, gluten-free, allergens) Ensure consistency with company recipes, portioning, cooking, and serving standards Read and understand banquet event orders Collaborate with sales to develop special menus and train staff for new items Ensure accurate timekeeping for kitchen staff Interview and hire kitchen team members Develop dishes for photo shoots and media opportunities as needed Present menus and dishes confidently at tastings or presentations Attend weekly banquet event order meetings and lead weekly kitchen meetings Participate in management meetings as requested Qualifications

Proven track record as an Executive Chef in a high-volume, fast-paced catering environment Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to inspire and motivate teams Professional, enthusiastic, responsible, and dependable team player Exceptional organizational and time management skills with attention to detail In-depth knowledge of food cost control, purchasing, and inventory management Passion for culinary excellence and delivering exceptional guest experiences High level of personal hygiene Strong organizational and management skills; ability to work under pressure Superior oral and written communication skills Ability to identify and resolve problems quickly Meticulous attention to detail Strong computer skills Adept at building teams Self-motivated with initiative to acquire new skills Willingness to collaborate with colleagues from diverse technical backgrounds Strong logical reasoning to evaluate solutions Current Florida Food Handler’s Card Education and/or Experience Four to ten years of related experience and/or training Manager ServSafe Certification required within 30 days of hire Reliable transportation and clean driving record Location: Jacksonville, FL Puff ’n Stuff Events Catering is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
