Sawgrass Country Club Position overview: The Food & Beverage Manager is a key leader responsible for overseeing daily operations across dining venues to ensure a seamless and elevated guest experience. This role emphasizes hands-on management, staff supervision, and maintaining high service and quality standards. The manager works closely with culinary teams, front-of-house, and other departments to optimize service, resolve operational challenges, and uphold brand standards. This position assists with monitoring labor and beverage costs. This position is responsible for ensuring that all sales, gratuities, and nightly reports are completed correctly. This role is responsible for ensuring that members and guests are served in a prompt, efficient and pleasant manner and greets each member by name. Responsibilities

Opens or closes the Beach Club or Golf Club as directed. Maintains work areas; keeps restaurant clean and organized. Reports unsafe conditions immediately. Ensures that beverage coolers and banquet storage areas are kept clean and organized. Acts proactively to ensure that all banquet rooms are set for the next event scheduled. Ensures that all sales, gratuities, and nightly reports are updated daily. Communicates with fellow Food and Beverage Managers on all matters relating to the Golf Club, Beach Club, and catering events. Participates in the supervision and training of service team members as needed. Participates in departmental meetings, inter-departmental meetings, shift line-ups and incentive programs. Ensures event bars are requisitioned out and a consumption report is completed after the event. Understands alcohol consumption awareness and the effects of alcohol. Completes Alcoholic Beverage purchases and transfers as directed. Greets and seats members, using proper member identification procedures and maintaining eye contact. Yields the right of way to Members; ensures all member interaction is positive and professional. Acts as a central source of information about Sawgrass Country Club; communicates events, products, and experiences professionally. Maintains a professional attitude to foster cooperation, learning, and member satisfaction. Maintains professional appearance by following the uniform dress code. Displays attentive posture, confidence, enthusiasm, and cordial disposition. Controls dining room flow of activity and service. Uses proper telephone etiquette, takes complete messages, follows reservation policies, and projects professionalism in every call and guest interaction. Communicates clearly with members, co-workers, and management. Understands principles and processes for providing customer and personal services including member needs assessment. Maintains awareness of quality service standards (The Non-Negotiables). Interacts with club members and team members in a courteous and professional manner. Qualifications

Minimum three years' experience in food & beverage. Minimum 2 years supervising staff. Able to work independently. Able to be on-call when needed. Able to work occasional nights and weekends. Displays knowledge of cocktail and wine service. Displays knowledge of food preparation. Can perform duties of within the department including serving, bussing, hosting, expediting. Must be able to spend several hours at a time standing up or walking. Bachelors' degree from an accredited university preferred. Relocation assistance may be available for qualified candidates
